Maggie's Cancer Support

Throughout the pandemic we have been supporting people by phone and in groups run via zoom.

We are now able to offer pre-booked face to face appointments in the centre, whilst continuing our group work online. At the moment we’re not open for drop-in in the building, but our garden is open for people to use if coming to the hospital.

Our latest program shows the range of ways we can support your patients. (Click on link below)

Remember that Maggie’s is not just here for the person with cancer, but also their family and friends, which becomes especially important if the person with cancer dies. We provide one to one bereavement support and we also have a bereavement group that meets twice a month.

The other thing that may particularly interest you is our parents group, which will support parents to speak to their children about cancer no matter what their age and also understand their children’s reactions to having someone in the family with cancer.

If you have any queries or would like to speak to one of us directly about our program, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
