When We Are Closed
The Out of Hours Service in Lochaber is provided by the Mid-Highland Community Health Partnership and operates at weekends and public holidays, from 6:00 pm in the evening until 08:00 am the following day and all day Saturday and Sunday.
This service offers telephone advice from NHS 24.
As a consequence an appointment may be offered to attend the Belford Hospital – where you can see a GP – or a home visit will be made, if necessary.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 24 (08454 24 24 24) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
