Craig Nevis Surgery offers a system for direct ordering of Repeat Prescriptions from the Fort William Pharmacies ie: Lloyds, Boots and Lloyds Caol.
Alternatively you can place your re-order form in the box provided at our reception desk.
The order form consists of a list of all your medications with "Tick Boxes" and a new re-order form should be enclosed with each new order. Please select which medications you require by placing a tick in the space provided. When you pick up your order, please ensure that a new re-order sheet is attached, for use next time. Old sheets may be out of date and cause incorrect medicines to be dispensed and ultimately wasted, as these cannot be recalled and given to anybody else.
Prescriptions will be available for collection 48 hours after placing your order at the chemist.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT TELEPHONE CALLS FOR ORDERING OF REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS.
We need to keep our telephone lines free to enable emergency and clinical calls to get through.
If you call about a repeat prescription please note that we have not supported this avenue for the past 8-9 years, as your local pharmacist can take your request for you for any repeat medication and any other medication that you have previously been prescribed eg: an antibiotic cream or a antihistamine tablet. You should call them in the first instance. (As detailed above)
- You can alternatively register on this website and order your medications at a time that suits you, so if you are taking your tablets at night and you notice you only have a few left, you can log-on and place the order straight away. We check these requests twice a day and offer the same 48-hour turnaround as your pharmacist.
- If you are in the situation where you have miscalculated and are down to your last tablet/s please indicate this on your website request and we can arrange for this to be collected at the surgery after 5.00pm on the same day.
We will never see you go without the medications you need to keep you healthy, so please do call us in the event of an emergency.
